The Epic La Natural, Terra-cotta water filter stands apart from the other water filters we carry with its ability to cool as well as filter your water. The water is constantly cooled by the evaporative process of its terra cotta shell. This is a definite plus for hot weather situations where one doesn’t have access to refrigeration. Also, if you want cool water handy, without a jug taking up your refrigerator space, the terra-cotta is the ideal solution. The Epic La Natural is a gravity type filter. You simply fill the top chamber with water which passes through the filter to the bottom chamber. The ceramic filtration efficiency is 0.5 micron absolute. It is silver impregnated to prevent bacteria grow – through. The ceramic elements may be cleaned 100 or more times with a soft brush. It has an inner core of activated carbon to remove chemical pollutants. In addition to being a carbon filter the La Natural also incorporates absorbent medias to effectively reduce heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, zinc, mercury and copper.
