These hand crank machines make excellent homemade pasta. Once you’ve tasted fresh homemade pasta you won’t want to go back to the stale noodles you get in boxes or bags. Not only is taste superior but nutrition is, of course, of no comparison to those noodles from boxes. You need never have rancid, nutrient deficient noodles again.
The variety of noodles you make is only limited by your imagination and creativity. Add spinach, carrot or herbs. Some of our favorites are nettle and garlic. You can also use the atlas for eggrolls, wantons and even small sheets of filo dough. As for sizes and shapes, this Atlas comes with 3 pairs of rollers and cutters for making lasagne, fettuccine and tagliolini. You can also order a pasta bike, a special cutter for making tortellini, tortelloni, wanton, spring rolls, stars, etc, and you can purchase additional cutters for other varieties of pasta. Amazingly these machines are easy enough for a child to use and the process really doesn’t take a lot of time. You can dry the pasta or use it freshly rolled.
We have been told these machines are also a great tool for “plastic clay” crafts artists. Happy creating whether with clay or dough.
