Britelyt Petromax Multi Fuel Lanterns and Accessories
The Britelyt Petromax may be the prettiest as well as the most
durable and versatile lantern on
the market today. It is made of solid brass and comes with your choice for polished brass or nickel plating. It is made to withstand
even the roughest
terrains. It shines with 500 candle power, the equivalent of 400 watts of electric light,
which is 4 times brighter then
most other pressurized lanterns. It burns for 8 hours on a qt. of fuel, or 32 hours per
qt. if set at a lower
pressure. It is capable of using a variety of fuels.... Kerosene, Coleman/white gas,
mineral spirits, scented
and unscented lamp oils, gasoline, diesel fuel and just about any flammable fuel
available. The first lanterns developed named Petromax were used by the German
armies before and during World War Two. The military significance of a lantern that
would burn all liquid fuels from diesel oil to gasoline made the lantern very useful. If you
need to
change fuels just pour whatever fuel you have directly into the tank. It doesn't hurt to
mix fuels and no special
attention is required to do so. It is well sealed to prevent leaks and enable indoor as
well as outdoor use.
This is wonderful for power outages and use in remote locations. Can't get much more
versatile than this. The Reflector is not included, but available below.

Petromax 500CP Parts Kit with O-ring
This parts kit fits 500 CP BriteLyt lanterns that have the O-ring pump system.
The kit includes parts: #17-1,#18-1,#83-1,#193-1,#194-1,#195-1,#90-2,#50-1,
#68-2,O-Ring for pump-1,#11-1,#229-1. It is great for a fail safe back up to the
parts included with your lantern giving the security of spare parts in out-back
or survival situations. It allows you to replace parts worn out from rugged, heavy use,
or to rebuild older lanterns. This kit also fits older generations of 500CP lanterns
such as Petromax, Hipolito, Aida, and Geniol. If you have a lantern with a leather
pump you can up grade it for use with this kit by ordering our stock number
1189 O-Ring Kit.

You can purchase a reflector which focuses the light
down and outward. It is a very attractive addition as well. The lantern pictured has the
reflector installed. It fits the 500 cp lantern.

This is the 500 CP lantern's little brother. It has all the same great features,
but puts out about 150 candle power (over 100 watts of lighting), and burns longer on the
same amount of fuel. It runs about 20 hours on a pint of fuel. Height 11 1/2". Please note, not all of the accessories are interchangeable
between the two models.
The Reflector is not included, but available below.

Last night the power went out and we tested the Petromax with reflector.
We were very
impressed. It provided as much light as our 5 bulb diningroom lamp fixture, so business
went on as usual
despite no electric power. Outside it lit up an entire area. May be just the thing for
picking garden produce

your petromax lantern. It fits on all 500 candle power lanterns. It is constructed of
high-grade stainless steel.

High Performance Mixing Tube
The BriteLyt High Performance Mixing Tube provides better vapor flow, decreasing or eliminating the odor of fuel while
increasing light output and helping prevent yellowish or reddish light. The High Performance Mixing Tube works on all
500cp lanterns. It also eliminates the need for the butterfly adjustment screw on the mixing tube.

Stainless Steel Nozzle for Petromax
This Stainless Steel Nozzle replaces part number 3 ceramic nozzles on all generations of 500cp lanterns.
It is stronger than the standard ceramic nozzle and doesn't loosen up. It provides 10% to 50% brighter light and
increases fuel efficiency of your lantern. The Stainless Steel Nozzle provides shorter preheating time, cleaner
mantel burn with oil based fuels, brighter burn with gas based fuels, and keeps the mantels cleaner with all fuels.

Heat Shield - Protection Plate for Petromax
This Stainless Steel Heat Shield is for all generations of 826,523,828,829 500CP or 350CP Lanterns.
It keeps the fuel container cooler and even allows continued operation
of your lantern for a short while, with a broken mantle, without the
risk of unsoldering the upper lamp from the container. You
can also attach the BriteLyt Heating Adapter, our stock number 1630, to a spare
Heat Shield to make it quicker to change in and out.

BHA - BriteLyt Heating Adapter
This BriteLyt Heating Adapter increases the heating output of your Petromax BritLyt Lantern, allowing you to use your
lantern as a heater. It can be used with, or without a mantel. It is useful to combine with the Ez-cook adapter giving
you more heat for your stove. Heating, cooking, and light all from one lantern - now that is amazing!
The BriteLyt Heating Adapter can be used with our 500cp lanterns. It is made of sturdy, stainless steel construction and
comes with two screws for attaching to your lantern. Remember, always have ventilation when using these products.

The
Britelyt EZ Pump Valve. Makes pumping easier, and helps prevent mantle
breakage. Use bicycle pump (hand or foot), or with adapter, you can use CO2

O-Ring Pump
This replacement pump includes the new style O-Ring system. It is a complete drop-in replacement
for old or new style pumps. It increases the air intake
into the tank 30%-50% over leather washer pumps. The standard type O-Ring can be bought from hardware or home care stores
when needed. It fits both 150CP and 500CP pumps.

150 CP Alcohol Conversion Kit
This kit allows you to convert your 150 CP lantern to burn 85% and up Isopropyl Alcohol or
Denatured Alcohol. This increases the versatility of your lantern letting you burn
any fuel you might have on hand, plus alcohol does not produce carbon monoxide when burned. This
kit makes it easy to swap in the alcohol conversion and re-convert your lantern back to its
original state. Kerosene is the preferred low carbon output fuel and alcohol
an emergency fuel if needed.
