Installation is easy as the FanAttic is an all in one unit. Remove it from the box and it is ready for installation - No assembly and no wiring required. Installation consists of mounting the flashing base over a 12 inch diameter hole, cut through the roof sheathing. Its one piece circular flashing collar design virtually eliminates potential roof leakage. Installation can take as little as 30 minutes. It works best in full sunlight, which means that southern exposures on the roof are ideal, and also you will need to avoid installing under overhanging trees or other structures creating shade. It will be most effective if installed as close as possible to the top ridge.

The Fan Attic's low voltage D.C. motor makes virtually no noise. One Fan-Attic will ventilate approximately 1200 Sq. Ft. of attic space.
